0% on administration

Himalayan Learning promises that it will not spend any of the money donated for projects and sponsorship on administration.

We aim to spend 100% of your donation on the project or sponsorship that you have chosen.

In many cases we deliver our projects and programmes for less that we thought and in these cases we use the remaining donations on similar projects that perhaps do not raise as much money.

We do of course require money for things like stamps and operating this website, but all our international staff are volunteers and we only use money raised from grants to pay for our small administration costs.

In Nepal we have a number of staff members who supervise our projects and volunteers to provide smooth operation. Our staff are all part-time women from disadvantaged groups and are paid similar amounts pro-rata to early-years teachers.
