Working at school
Girls not only have far fewer chances to go to school than boys, they also have to do far more work outside school - which deeply affects their learning.
The following graph shows that from an early age girls in Nepal spend far less time reading and studying than boys:

Carrying out some local research we have made the following table to show what jobs girls are doing before, during, and after school:
