Where we work

Nepal is justly famous for being home to 8 of the world's 10 tallest mountains including the biggest: Everest.

UNESCO Report
"Nepal is the fourth poorest country in the world"

Nepal's less known claim to fame is that it is also the birth place of Siddhārtha Gautam (Buddha), one of the poorest countries in the world, and the home to 27 million people following 4 major religions (and many minor ones) and speaking over a 100 languages.

Nepal also has an incredible range of flora and fauna because of it's range of geographical zones from sea level to 8,848 metres. Indeed, according to scientists Nepal has over 850 species of birds alone - more than the whole of the north American continent!
